FrontBot

Link Takedown Notice

Modified 5/2/25 to fix clarity and grammatical errors. Not associated with the "fuckhollow.live" website. Too Long; Didn't Read

The FrontBot link d1h481pdfry8gu.cloudfront.net has been disabled because the hoster of this link ("akane" or "akanefr"; further to be refered to by "akane") has engaged in fraudulent and other manipulative activities to pose the Hollow web proxy to be an "unblockable" web proxy (claiming to have free Lightspeed, Blocksi, GoGuardian, and other filters unblocked on the links provided by "akane"; therefore it is considered "unblockable" [1]) and has plans to find legal loopholes in copyleft licenses like the GNU (Affero) General Public License [2].

"akane" has stolen the code and infrastructure used to create FrontBot links, which is secret and was intended exclusively for use in FrontBot. Me ("bliss" or "xpbliss") had given "akane" access to some of the FrontBot code for collaboration and troubleshooting purposes [3] only but "akane" decided to instead use it for their own personal and potential financial gain [4] in the Hollow web proxy.

After "akane" stole the secret FrontBot code, "akane" decided to create tens of AWS CloudFront links using FrontBot's infrastructure without giving Me ("xpbliss") any credit for the methodology [4]. Additionally, "akane" has misled consumers of the Hollow web proxy to think that it is "impossible" to create AWS CloudFront links [5], which is very far from the truth. FrontBot exists to make it easier for proxy and game site owners and link deployers to create unblocked links by taking advantage of AWS CloudFront. I believe that "akane" saying that it is "impossible" to create unblocked AWS CloudFront links is an attempt at driving potential users away from using FrontBot; as I consider the Hollow web proxy and FrontBot to be competitors as we both have the same methods. Therefore "akane"'s fraudulent activities could be considered unfair competition or promoting anti trust, as FrontBot currently holds a monopoly on AWS CloudFront in the "proxy" or "web unblocking" community (although there are plans to change this).

Plus, "akane"'s Hollow web proxy and it's verification system "Ahki" areproprietary software. The Hollow web proxy relies on web proxy technologies like Ultraviolet, and Scramjet. These web proxy technologies rely on libraries released by the Mercury Workshop organization, which one of it's representatives (Crystals, or "crazycrystals") have told "akane":

When you use mw software you agree to keep your software that relies on it as a library as open source, or to add to percs's college fund

Either open source your shit or go to raff's dms

I'm not asking for ahki to be foss, I'm asking for hollow[.]live to at least not violate the license of software it relies on

Without UV and scramjet this proxy wouldn't work, if you want people to keep developing this shit at least don't be an asshole

I interpret this as them wanting "akane" to open source the Hollow web proxy, or at least respect the licenses in the libraries that the Hollow web proxy relies on. As of my knowledge, "akane" has not provided a serious response to the Mercury Workshop representative regarding the matter. Although the web proxy technology Scramjet has modified the AGPL license to include requiring dependent projects to contribute back to open source and to provide attribution which is technically forbidden in the licensing terms [6], "akane" as of right now has failed to respect the Scramjet and Mercury Workshop developer's intent for software that is dependent on Scramjet or other MW software to be open source and to have attribution. The Scramjet license specifically is as quoted:

Scramjet is licensed under AGPL-3. You can view the full terms of the license here: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.txt
- Your project using scramjet MUST be open source, and must be compatible with GPL
- Your project must include clear and prominent credit to the scramjet project, with a link to https://discord.gg/88CapFYSEd

If these terms cannot work for your project, email [email protected] for information on a obtaining a dual license.

Although the Hollow web proxy does not appear to be using Scramjet web proxy technology (as it's considered "experimental") and uses TitaniumNetwork's Ultraviolet (which is older). Modern versions of Ultraviolet rely on Mercury Workshop software like bare-mux, which according to the representative has the same terms (the phrase "MW software" in Crystals' statement seems to apply here).

[AD] If you wish to take advantage of the unblocked status of AWS CloudFront and create almost unblockable links to your favorite web proxy or game site easily, you can check out FrontBot, a private Discord bot. FrontBot and the owner (Bliss) are the original people that came up with using CloudFront to unblock. Click here to join FrontBot's official Discord server and consult #frontbot-method for help on creating your first link.
